Fishing Report May 2007

The spawn is here! May is the month when most of the stripers in the lake run down to the dam to spawn. During this period you'll have the infamous 10-rods-go-down-at-once action. The fish are really schooled up right now and moving fast and we'll troll around quickly until we find them and develop a pattern on what they're doing and then we'll put the spread out of 12 live bait rods and wait for the bite. We may be doing some jigging too, which is a blast!
