-For full day charters, I recommend splitting the day up into a morning and evening trip, with a siesta during the middle of the day. But if we are lucky enough to get a calm & cloudy day, then we will probably fish a straight 8-9 hour day since the fish will be biting.
- Light Tackle Jiggin' and Castin' Half Day and Full Days are available too. During these trips we do not put out any live bait and we will be casting and jigging only. During these trips we will be jumping around the lake and trying alot of different areas and techniques. Please call or email us to see if this is available for the date that you want. This offering is only available certain times of the year.

New Policy - Due to a surprising number of 'no-shows' I will require a deposit through a credit card to reserve a date. This will be a deposit of $100 for a 1/2 day and a deposit of $200 for a full day. Cancellations will have to be 48 hours before the trip and no-shows will be charged for full amount of charter. Sorry about having to do this, but in 2006 & 2007, I've had alot of people arrange a trip, not send a deposit and then not show up without calling. When this happens, I'm out of a trip that I could have been arranged with another, paying party.
Again, sorry, but if I don't get a deposit, I will arrange a trip with another party.

If you would like to mail your deposit instead, please send the deposit check to:

Things to bring:

1. Rain Gear (Frogg Toggs are great!) and warm clothes

2. Favorite Casting Rod/Jiggin' Rod (depending on the time of the year) If you'd like to cast during our trip feel free to bring a casting rod of your own. It needs to be basically a heavy-duty bass rod and reel that has 15lb test line. If you need a rod and reel, check out CoreFishingTackle.com for striper fishing rods and reels.

You can buy your fishing licenses on-line at the VA DGIF web site. You will need a credit card and driver's license number. The web site is:
http://secure01.virginiainteractive.org/horf/
You will need a temporary or ful-year FRESHWATER license. You do not need a trout license.

After you purchase your license, be sure to print it out and bring it with you.
