Things to bring: 1. IMPORTANT!!! If you are bringing kids fishing with us, by law you will need to bring size-appropriate life jackets for each child under the age of 13. I am required to have TYPE I Coast Guard life jackets that are not comfortable, not very stylish, and are only in Adult size. I would strongly recommend bringing comfortable, Coast Guard approved life jackets for each kid. 2. Fishing License.
Freshwater Charter Captains cannot have a 'Boat License' that covers
all of the customers. You can buy your fishing licenses on-line at
the VA DGIF web site. You will need a credit card and driver's license
number. The web site is: After you purchase your license, be sure to print it out and bring it with you.
1. Rain Gear and warm clothes 2. Favorite Casting
Rod/Jiggin' Rod (depending on the time of the year) If you'd like
to cast during our trip feel free to bring a casting rod of your own.
It needs to be basically a heavy-duty bass rod and reel that has 15lb
test line. |
